MAKE UP STORE™, a leading make up brand in Sweden was founded by Mika Liias, born in1968. As the creative energy behind the brand, Mika’s journey to the top has been incredibly fast. Less than a decade ago he started his first ever MAKE UP STORE™ in one of the high streets of Stockholm. Mikas aim was to create “a world of colours” this created a unique concept that had not been seen on the market before. Mika understood though that quality products alone were not the answer. Today MAKE UP STORE™ is one of the fastest growing companies of Scandinavia, with more than 130 stores in 20 countries and with 2-4 new stores opening every month somewhere around the world.

AS A YOUNG, CREATIVE AND DYNAMIC COMPANY we are always on the frontier of developing innovative products and launching new trends. Within the product line one finds a large spectrum of adjustable colors to fit everyone. Colors have from the beginning been the focus of the production line. The products contain rich pigmentation and are produced solely from top quality ingredients. The products have not been tested on animals, neither does the color cosmetics contain any perfume, which makes the whole range allergy-friendly.

As early as 2003 Dagens Industri (Industrial Today) rated MAKE UP STORE as the most stable and the 3rd fastest growing company in Stockholm as well as the 4th in Sweden. The growing rate during the last years has been around 1500 percent that places the company on the prestigious Gazelle list.

Dun & Bradstreet, which continuously assess the stability and solvency of international stock companies, has given Make Up Store rating AAA for highest credit. Make Up Store was also voted as number 1 out of 200 companies as the super company of the year in 2005. Taken in to consideration were parameters such as growth, profits, efficiency, capital structure and financing.

COSMO BEAUTY AWARDS REWARDED OUR MAKE UP WIPES AS BEST CLEANSERS IN 2003. The cover all and eazy cover blue were the best concealer in 2005. In Singapore, CLEO magazine nominated no less than 19 products from the range for their ”Beauty Hall of Fame” in 2007. IN 2005, MAKE UP STORE PUBLISHED THE FIRST ISSUE OF THE MAKEUP-MAGAZINE M. Soon all who had an interest in makeup and fashion realized that this was a unique forum. M includes not only an endless source of inspiration but also instructions and advices that help costumers create the ultimate makeup. This is a place where some of the worlds leading makeup-artists meet and consumers can take part of their creations and achievements.
